3rd Annual Charleston Wine and Food Festival Mixologist Competition presented by Van Gogh Imports

+ FOOD FESTIVAL® MIXOLOGIST COMPETITION, JANUARY 10, 2011
AT SOCIAL RESTAURANT AND WINE BAR

CHARLESTON, SC – December 9, 2010 – For the first time ever, the BB&T Charleston Wine
+ Food Festival® welcomes the public to taste and vote on the libations created at the 3rd Annual Festival Mixologist Competition, presented by Van Gogh Imports. Finalists will compete at Social Restaurant + Wine Bar on Monday, January 10, 2011 from 6-8 pm. Tickets are available for $15 online.

The winning bartender will receive a $300 cash prize, courtesy of Van Gogh Imports, and the winning drink will be featured as the signature cocktail at the 2011 Festival’s Opening Night Party: A Salute to Charleston Chefs, presented by the Art Institute of Charleston.Samples of each cocktail will be available for guests to savor and critique while nibbling on passed hors d’ouvres. The crowd favorite, decided by a panel of judges and guests, will be announced at the end of the night.
